2 New cars from Tata, Honda to be unveiled this week

We are going to see some new exciting new car launches in the month of April 2022. The first launch of the month will be the new Honda HR-V SUV. The new SUV will be having a global launch on 4th April then the new electric car from Tata Motors will be unveiled on 6th April.

Honda HR-V SUV
Honda will unveil the new HR-V SUV for the North American markets on 4th April. The manufacturer has given us a look of the SUV by releasing multiple design sketches ahead of its global debut. The skethces show the SUV with a entirely new front fascia of the SUV. It has been entirely revised with bigger octagonal grille and a S-shaped mesh design. The company has also packed a updated bumper and larger and squarish headlamps along with newly-designed tailgate and taillamps in the new HR-V SUV. Its American version will be longer than the Europe-spec model.
The company has not shared any information regarding its interior. We expect the Honda HR-V to share its cabin layout and features with the new Civic. The SUV could be also be offered with the hybrid powertrain. We could expect it to have the Honda’s e:HEV system that has two electric motors and a 1.5L iMMD petrol engine. Its combined power will be 109bhp. It could also be powered by a 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 158bhp and 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that churns out 180bhp. This powertrain is also seen in the new Civic.
New Tata Electric Car
Tata Motors is going to unveil a new electric car on 6th April. However, the carmaker hasn’t revealed the name of the upcoming model yet. It is speculated to be the long-range Tata Nexon EV or the Tata Sierra EV. The new Tata electric car may come with the brand’s updated Ziptron technology. The automaker has been working on multiple electric cars including the updated Tigor EV, Altroz EV and Punch EV.
